Five robotic “smart trainees” are set to join the station operations team of the MTR Corporation, with plans to begin their service at Kai Tak Station starting from the third quarter of 2020. These robots are part of MTR’s initiative to integrate smart technologies into daily operations, aiming to enhance efficiency, improve passenger experience, and support frontline staff in their routine tasks.
